An FBI affidavit reveals a 4th person was involved in the murder-for-hire plot to kill popular Dallas dentist Kendra Hatcher.

The unnamed individual was with Crystal Cortes and Brenda Delgado at the latter’s apartment where they “and others” plotted to kill Hatcher. He has not been charged.

Hatcher, 35, was shot to death in the parking garage of her luxury high rise apartment building on Sept. 2.

She and her boyfriend, dermatologist Ricky Paniagua, were scheduled to leave for a trip to Mexico the next day.

Paniagua and Delgado, who dated for 2 years, split earlier this year.

In a major break in the case, police arrested Kristopher Love on Oct. 2nd and charged him with capital murder and unlawful possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

He was in possession of the murder weapon at the time of his arrest.

Cortes, the getaway driver, was arrested on Sept. 4.

Cortes, 23, told police she and a male friend met with Delgado at her apartment. She said Delgado asked the male if he knew anyone who could do a job for her.

Delgado later loaned Cortes a Jeep and gave her instructions to pick up Love, whom she knew as “Kris”, and drive him to Hatcher’s apartment on Sept. 2nd.

Cortes said Delgado promised her $500 in exchange for Hatcher’s driver’s license.

Cortes said Love hid in the backseat as she drove. She told police she asked Love how much Delgado was paying him. Love reportedly told her that was “none of her business.”

Cortes said she and Love waited in the parking garage until Hatcher drove in and parked. Then Love exited the vehicle and approached Hatcher. Cortes said she heard a gunshot and Love returned to the car carrying 2 purses.

Cortes said she later met up with Delgado who took one of the purses.

Delgado was arrested on Sept. 4 on an outstanding traffic warrant.

Dallas police released Delgado on Sept. 5.

Delgado, a 33-year-old native of Mexico, is considered a fugitive on the run.

Hatcher’s friends question why police released Delgado when they were aware of her involvement in Hatcher’s death.
