Hmm, interesting. Let me say, although from Houston, I am not a big Beyonce fan. Simply because I think she is way too talented to be so sexualized. And the only reason I am giving so much detail is to put accurate info out there. So the interview you speak of happened in 2008. Which would have made her 26. To some, this is still considered young & maybe not as versed on providing tactful responses. So I give her a pass. And your quote was only 95 % accurate. You left off where she was quoted in saying “But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” I interpret that differently than you. In 2008, it was well documented of Michael’s disdain for his father. He felt he was used & deprived of his childhood because of his dad using his talent for financial gain. Plus there was infamy hanging over MJ for his molestation accusations. So no one, even some of his family, was positively speaking about the Jackson name at that time. Which is likely why she said that. Plus confirming that her dad was not abusing his daughter’s talents for financial gain, like Joe Jackson. Lastly, why would we be mad about that interview when clearly the Jackson family seem to like her. Did Diddy not tell the story of MJ showing up to a party only asking for Beyonce? Was she & her daughter not at Janet’s concert just the other nite (pic above), clearly allowed backstage? I’m just saying, maybe you should give her the benefit of the doubt on this one. Now if it’s some other reason, then I can understand. Just my opinion though…
