Janet Jackson's second wedding dress, from her 1991 marriage to dancer Rene Elizondo Jr., is up for auction next month.

The pop superstar's personal items are among the celebrity memorabilia in next month's Julien's Auctions sale.

The auction will honor Janet and her "groundbreaking four decade career that changed music forever and opened the door for an entire generation of music icons who followed her extraordinary path".

In addition to her wedding dress, the auction includes the futuristic outfits Janet wore in her "Scream" music video with late brother Michael Jackson. "Scream" was the world's most expensive music video at the time, at a cost of $7 million.

Also included in the auction are Janet's military jacket from "Rhythm Nation" and her single hoop earring with a hanging key.

The items are up for sale on May 14, 15 and 16 - coinciding with the singer's 55th birthday on the 16th.

Janet was married to singer James DeBarge from 1984 to 1985. Her marriage to Elizondo lasted from 1991 to 2000. Her third marriage, to a Qatari businessman, ended in a legal separation.

The items will be exhibited at London's Hard Rock Cafe for five days from April 19, before being transferred to New York and then Los Angeles for the auction.

Janet Jackson fans never get tired of watching documentaries devoted to their idol.

A major documentary is planned to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Jackson's debut album.

Jackson is the latest pop superstar to get the documentary treatment - Lifetime and A&E bosses in the U.S. will simulcast a new four-hour film, tentatively titled Janet, across two nights in 2022.

The documentary will chronicle her "musical success as well as her tumultuous private life", according to a press release obtained by WENN.com.

The reclusive superstar will discuss her controversial 2004 Super Bowl appearance with Justin Timberlake, when she flashed a breast, and the death of her pop icon brother, Michael Jackson.

Deadline sources claim bosses at British production company Workerbee have been filming Jackson for over three years and have been granted exclusive access to archival footage, which will appear in the film.

Justin Timberlake apologized to Janet Jackson and Britney Spears, acknowledging he "failed" both women in the past.

Fans took to social media to slam Justin for using Britney and Janet to reach the top.

The "SexyBack" singer faced backlash following the recent premiere of Hulu documentary "Framing Britney Spears."

The documentary chronicled Britney's rise to pop superstardom, her spectacular 2008 meltdown, and her ongoing conservatorship battle with her father.

The film briefly explored how Justin capitalized on his 2002 break-up with Britney by boasting about taking the pop superstar's virginity and suggesting she cheated on him with his hit song "Cry Me A River", which featured a Britney lookalike in the music video.

Two years later, Justin hit headlines again for his role in Janet Jackson's Super Bowl Halftime Show debacle, as he ripped off part of her corset and exposed her breast.

Despite reports that Justin and Janet practiced the planned "wardrobe malfunction” in the days leading up to the halftime show, Timberlake distanced himself from Janet -- leaving her to take all the heat, which harmed her career.

Now, the father-of-two has claims he has seen the error of his ways and he spoke out about his white male privilege in a candid Instagram post on Friday.

In the post, he writes, "I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right.

"I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.

"I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed."

"I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of and grow from...," he adds, before blaming the culture of the entertainment industry for enabling such behavior.

"The industry is flawed. It sets men, especially white men, up for success. It's designed this way," Timberlake continues.

"As a man in a privileged position I have to be vocal about this. Because of my ignorance, I didn't recognize it for all that it was while it was happening in my own life but I do not want to ever benefit from others being pulled down again."

He concludes: "I have not been perfect in navigating all of this throughout my career. I know this apology is a first step and doesn't absolve the past. I want to take accountability for my own missteps in all of this as well as be part of a world that uplifts and supports.

"I care deeply about the wellbeing of the people I love and have loved. I can do better and I will do better."

Britney and Janet have yet to respond to the apology.

Brunei's Prince Azim has died at age 38, the country’s government confirmed on Sunday. Azim died in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan on Saturday morning following "prolonged treatment for a serious illness".

No cause of death was disclosed, but numerous outlets report he was diagnosed with liver cancer.

Consistent with Islamic custom, his funeral was held on Saturday, the same day as his death, and the nation is in a seven-day period of mourning.

The prince is the second son of the Sultan of Brunei who fathered 11 children (only three were Azim's full siblings). The sultan was once the world's richest man.

In addition to being fourth in line to the Brunei throne, Prince Azim was a Hollywood movie producer who mingled with the West's biggest stars including Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Scarlett Johansson.

Prince Azim is best known for paying Michael Jackson $10 million to attend his extravagant 25th birthday party in England. The king of pop didn't have to sing a note to claim his huge paycheck. He was paid to mingle with Prince Azim's guests.

Janet Jackson (pictured with Azim and actress Faye Dunaway in 2009) mourned the prince in a post on her Instagram stories, implying that Azim would be in "no more pain".

Swizz Beatz clarified controversial comments he made about Janet Jackson not being a good match for Missy Elliott.

Speaking on potential matchups for future lip sync battles on Verzuz, Swizz told music producer Timbaland, 48, that he didn't think Janet and Missy would be a good matchup.

Swizz, 42, began trending on Black Twitter for insulting Ms. Jackson. After the backlash, Swizz took to Instagram blog The Shaderoom to explain that he didn't think the good fit was 49-year-old Missy Elliott, whose name should not be spoken in the same breath as 54-year-old Janet.

"LETS BE CLEAR. I don't think Missy & Janet is a good match up at all! Much love to Janet she's ICON but I just didn't feel that was a good match up. Janet got hits on hits but she should have a better person to celebrate with that's all. Blessings...."

Question: Do you agree with Swizz?

Janet Jackson penned an emotional tribute to her friend Ja'Net DuBois, after news of the star's death broke on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

The famed character actress died of natural causes after passing away in her sleep at her home in Glendale, California on Tuesday. She was either 74 or 82 (her exact date of birth is unknown).

Jackson, 53, posted a heartfelt tribute to her former "Good Times" co-star and personal friend after hearing the news.

"I am so very saddened to hear my longtime friend Ja'Net DuBois has passed away," Jackson wrote, alongside a slideshow of snapshots of the pair taken over the years.

"I saw first hand how she broke stereotypes and changed the landscape for Black women in entertainment. I'm grateful in recent years I had a chance to see her and create more lasting memories."

She added: "I pray for comfort for all her family and friends. Thank you Ja'Net, I’ll miss you."

DuBois is best known for her portrayal as the projects gossip Willona Woods in the 1970s Norman Lear TV sitcom Good Times, which ran from 1974 to 1979.

Jackson, then 11, joined the cast in the fifth season as Penny - a young girl adopted by Willona after she's abandoned by her abusive mother.

The pair reunited in 1987 when DuBois played the R&B icon's mother in the music video for her single "Control."

Lear also posted a tribute to the late actress and singer, sharing on Twitter, “Ja'Net DuBois was all light and will be missed. I love that she wrote the theme song for her passing, 'Movin’ on Up'," referencing the theme song to The Jeffersons, which DuBois wrote and sang.

Janet Jackson is a huge Colin Kaepernick fan. The superstar singer went the extra mile to get a hold of Kaepernick's sold out Air Force 1 sneakers.

According to The Blast, the shoes sold out within minutes after going on sale last month. Millions of sneaker heads tried to buy the sneakers which retailed for $110.

Janet reached out to one of her contacts who hooked her up with a pair.

"Thank you CK for my sneaks. I love'em [sic] @Kaepernick7," she wrote in the caption of a photo that shows her rocking the coveted sneakers.

The sneakers feature a logo of Kaepernick's signature afro on the heels and they bear the date "08 14 16" on the right sole. The date marks the first time Kaepernick refused to stand for the national anthem before a game.

The shoes hit the market weeks after Kaepernick attended a workout for NFL teams in Atlanta. One of the wide receivers who caught Kaepernick's passes that day was offered an NFL contract, but Kaepernick is still unsigned.

Nike made the 32-year-old activist the face of an ad campaign for Nike's 30th anniversary year in 2019.

On Saturday, the former NFL quarterback angered his Twitter followers when he slammed the United States as an imperialist country after a precision drone strike killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, 62.

Janet Jackson heaped praise on Ciara's "too cute" children for dressing as her and big brother Randy Jackson for Halloween.

Ciara shared a snap of 5-year-old son Future Zahir Wilburn and 2-year-old daughter Sienna Princess as they rocked out in matching pink costumes on her Instagram page.

Ciara, 34, captioned the shot "The Jacksons", and the picture quickly caught the attention of Janet, 53, who commented with a sweet and simple: "Too cute," WENN.com reports.

While many fans assumed Future was dressed as Janet's late brother Michael, others were quick to point out that he was actually dressed as Randy, now 57.

Janet and her brother Randy were the youngest members of the musical Jackson family from Gary, Indiana. The two siblings joined their famous brothers - Michael, Marlon, Jermaine, Tito and Jackie - when they performed on the road during summer breaks.

Janet and Randy were popular for their grown up skits during the Jacksons' dinner & show tours. Little Janet brought the house down when she delivered Mae West's famous line to Randy: "Why don't you come up and see me sometime?"

Randy became an official member of the Jacksons in 1976 when he replaced older brother Jermaine, who left the group to pursue a solo career with Motown after contract negotiations fell through. Motown kept the "Jackson 5" name.

Future and Sienna's costumes were created by designer Michael Costello, who told E! News that Ciara was "very hands on" during the process of designing the outfits. Future's tuxedo and Sienna's dress both took between three to four days to complete, and cost between $1,200 and $1,400 apiece.

"I think the costumes are just super special because they're fun, they're youthful, they're a timeless classic," he explained. "I like that Ciara wanted to do something vintage-inspired and super adorable. I love the thought and creative process behind it. It's just fun! And it's refreshing because I'm kind of sick and tired of seeing superheroes and zombies everywhere."

Even yesterday when I took pictures, he goes, 'Don't post that. Whatever you do, just don't post that.'"
