Ben Carson

The lies and half-truths are stacking up against Dr. Ben Carson’s hopes of becoming the next president. The retired brain surgeon now admits he lied about applying, being accepted, and receiving a full scholarship to West Point Military Academy.

West Point does not offer scholarships. The academy pays tuition and all costs for accepted students.

In his best-selling book, Gifted Hands, Carson wrote that he applied for admission to the academy. But his campaign manager now admits, “He considered it but in the end did not seek admission.”

The West Point gaffe is the most recent in a series of lies and half-truths uncovered by the liberal media which is digging up dirt on Dr. Carson because of his anti-gay marriage stance.

The leftist media has reported on other contradictions in Carson’s book, including the claim that he once stabbed a childhood bully and he was once held up at gunpoint at a Popeyes Restaurant in the 1980s.

The media is on a mission to eliminate Hillary Clinton’s opponents by running a well-orchestrated smear campaign against her challengers.

If Dr. Carson was a gay marriage proponent there is no doubt that his past misdeeds would not see the light of day — just as the media covers for President Obama who has more skeletons in his closet than a graveyard.

Carson has a slight edge over Republican frontrunner Donald Trump in some left-leaning polls.
