NBA superstar LeBron James recently closed on a $21 million Brentwood, CA mansion, according to Variety.com.
The news prompted some sports fans to speculate whether James is taking his talents to the west coast when his contract with the Cavaliers expires.
The 9,350 square foot, six-bedroom and seven-bathroom mansion was designed by Ken Ungar, and custom built in 2011.
The new property purchase may be motivated by James’ desire to be near secret crush, Beyonce the Hollywood movie industry, where he hopes to become an accomplished actor when he hangs up his basketball jersey for good.
James impressed movie critics with his star turn in comedienne Amy Schumer’s hit comedy “Trainwreck” over the summer.
James recently sold his three-story oceanfront mansion in Coconut Grove, Fla. for $13.4 million. He moved with his family back to his 30,000 square foot mansion in the suburbs of his native Akron, Ohio.
