Singer and actress Kelly Rowland, 34, of Destiny’s Child fame chats with The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon about their long friendship, and how Kelly’s 1-year-old son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon, has a crush on Adrienne.
Rowland also discusses her role as a mentally disturbed single mom on the soap opera musical Empire, and how she’s searching for the next hot girl group with her new talent show, BET’s Chasing Destiny.

A little tot did that to me in Target just the other day. His mom was struggling to keep him in the buggy. As soon as I got in line behind him, he smiled and raised his arms for me to pick him up. Once I got him, he laid his head on my shoulder and was good to go.

Man, my mom was so hard on me, it jus made me rebellious. My mom also had me @ 16 , so we kinda had to grow up together. I think alot of our problems stemmed from wanting so much from me, like I couldn’t make a mistake. But she had to see I am my own woman. But until I had my son i didn’t understand her struggle, sacrifices & worries.
