Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga

Superstar Jennifer Hudson and her life partner David Otunga Jr. brought their son David Otung, left, to Opening night of the Broadway play The Color Purple at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City on Thursday. Don’t you love J-Hud and WWE star David as a couple? They set a great example for young people who rush through relationships like diarrhea. How cute are the boys honing their stylist skills on the red carpet?

Gabourey Sidibe

Empire star Gabourey “Precious” Sidibe stunned on the red carpet at Opening Night of The Color Purple. Gabby is so popular that her fans nearly caused a car accident. “This one time, I was in an Uber with Jussie Smollett and Kaitlin Doubleday, and there was a car next to us that almost kept ramming into us,” Gabby told Page Six. She said she and Empire co-star Jussie screamed at them “not cause an accident. They were way too excited to care about street laws. It quickly became a ‘Fast & Furious’ moment.”

Cynthia Erivo attended Opening night after party for The Color Purple at the Copacabana nightclub in NYC. I wonder if Cynthia is ever mistaken for something else due to her strong jawline, prominent brow ridge and wide shoulders?
