NBA star Steph Curry defended his wife, Ayesha Curry, for statements she made on social media.
Ayesha gained newfound respect among conservative women when she took to social media to defend her traditional style of dress, saying she covers herself up in public. Ayesha added that her goodies are for her man’s eyes only.
The mother of 2 tweeted that she dresses respectfully and appropriately in public and she only bares her goodies for her husband.
“Everyone’s into barely wearing clothes these days huh?” Ayesha tweeted. “Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters.
But Ayesha was criticized by Black twitter who accused her of insulting them and acting as if she was superior to them. They even circulated memes of Ayesha.
After the backlash on social media reached the mainstream media, Steph Curry defended his wife by saying he thought Twitter was for expressing opinions.
“Regardless of if you like my “style of clothes or not (which I don’t care) please do not tear women down and degrade them. Not cool peeps,” Ayesha tweeted.
“I’ll take classy over [slutty] any day of the week,” she added.
