Atlanta Police have located a stolen car belonging to a 23-year-old man who was shot and killed in his SW Atlanta home.
Quintavius Waters, left, was shot once in the head in his home on Allegheny Street in southwest Atlanta on Monday.
Waters’ roommate found him face down on a bed, according to Channel 2 Action News. Police say there was no signs of forced entry into the home.
The killer reportedly stole Waters’s 2001 black Mustang and possibly his dog, a Yorkshire terrier.
“Whoever did this,” Lee said, “apparently they were invited in or they knew the subject,” Atlanta Major Adam Lee III told Channel 2 Action News.
A friend told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Waters worked as a security guard at Club Lacura on Metropolitan Parkway in addition to serving as Young Thug’s bodyguard.
“When I first met him, he was so welcoming, letting me into his home,” Toboris Character told the AJC. “And I told him, ‘You can’t do that in Atlanta.’ I guess he did that to someone else, to the wrong person.”
Character said he learned about Waters’ death on Facebook.
