Singer Chrisette Michelle is happy that a man accepted her proposal to marry her. She’s so happy she created a web series, Becoming Mrs. Ellison, to document her journey to the alter.

This might not be the best foundation to build a life on. Exposing your private life to the public before you’ve even said “I do” is not a good idea. But celebrities are used to living their entire lives in the spotlight.

I hope this marriage works out for her. She hasn’t had much luck with men.

I know money is hard to come by these day, but this seems like a recipe for a disaster.

But since a network didn’t pick it up, I’m going to assume there’s as much interest in her wedding planning as there is in her albums.

Reality Shows are like a distraction for “celebs” like when people change the subject or distract from the real issue at hand. All the effort or whatever effort you put into being on tv should be for your career. Sucks that her career is suffering so bad that she has to sell herself for fans. Self disclosure isn’t always necessary. As an “alleged famous” person your privacy is supposed to be all that you have left. Geesh lady you need a mentor.

Was I praying too loud? I was just hoping that Chrisette Michelle is opening a wedding planning business. I tried to like her. Reality television isn’t for everybody. It’s like women who dress with less material and evoking hoeism on a daily basis. Yes, men (or women, whatever you’re trying to attract) may gawk and play, but they are really interested in the cooch that that everyone can’t identify by the print.

When I first became aware of her in 2007 I thought.. what a breath of fresh air. She went for the moral high ground, introspective, socially conscious, vocally superior R&B. To top it off, she goes natural a few years ago.
