The only reason her name came into the media is that at the time the first Hunger Games came out, there was backlash against her character Rue from a bunch of ignorant racist white kids. In which, in the books the character is described as having deep skin etc being from the ward that is predominantly black people, and then the character is killed. In the book it’s an emotional moment because the lead character (Katniss/Jennifer Lawrence) is very close to the character since Rue reminds her of her little sister. The white kids threw up all kind of racist tweets regarding Amandla who was 9 or 10 at the time calling her the n word; making fun of her natural hair; and stating that her death wasn’t as poignant because Rue is portrayed as a black girl instead of a white one (what these idiotic white kids imagined when reading even though it CLEARLY described Rue as black…)

I agree with you. There are enough adults out there for the bloggers to write about, so leave the kids alone. Why hurt them or write things about them that will be on the internet forever. Suppose they end up being as straight as can be and this stuff is out there about them when they were children. It’s a shame to do this to someone’s kids.

Middle school age children are 13-16, they are in the identity stage of child development. Female hormones rage and we are taught that good girls don’t like boys so the immediacy goes to a girl. Some boys arent even intersted in girls until their mid teens when their sex hormones awaken. Girls need direction and attention, you can’t simply let them be, you guide your offspring til they move from the nest.

The story about the Chicago man could also apply to someone who wins and collect through an LLC but tells the family (not the public) that they are the winner.

My 2 cent advice is to create an LLC but still stay private including from all family members and friends. You set up a well controlled trust from which your family will receive an annual bonus depending on your win amount. If they blow their bonus, they can’t come back to the trust until next year.

This providence trust should be the one to inherit your estate in case you pass away, the trust continues to pay family as per schedule. In other words, your family gets money in installments and not in one sum after division of assets.

But while you are alive, keep everyone guessing who is being so generous. You have to be very modest too in your spending. Nice house, one or two nice cars, vacations and nothing more. You can send money to friends as Providence. Personally, I wouldn’t need to tell them it was me.
