The 18-year-old thug who was filmed knocking out an elderly man in Paterson, NJ has turned himself in, ABC7NY reports.
Kristian Gonzalez turned himself in to police around noon on Tuesday.
His attorney implied that Gonzalez has a history of mental or emotional problems which led to the vicious incident.
The heartless 16-year-old who laughed while filming the vicious knockout punch — and uploaded the shocking video to Facebook.com — turned himself in over the weekend.
The brutal knockout was filmed in December on a Paterson, NJ street. The victim, who was knocked out cold, apparently didn’t contact the police. He was treated at a hospital and released.
Police were alerted to the video on Facebook.com and launched a search for the thugs.
Gonzalez, who was 17 when the punch was thrown, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault and endangering an injured person as a juvenile.
The cameraman will be charged as a juvenile.
