I know you frequently post medical minutes and I am suggesting a legal minute post talking about jury duty. I just got through serving as a juror on a Federal case (IRS) and it has opened my eyes to the judicial system and why as to why so many black defendants get judged harshly. The bottom line is, until we stop dodging jury duty, others will be appointed to judge us!! The process can be long and tedious (I served for 2 weeks) but if we don’t do it, someone else will. You have to be in it to win it!! Thanks for your consideration on what I think is a serious matter. Have a great day.
