Power couple Ciara Harris and Russell Wilson announced their engagement on social media last week in videos uploaded to their Instagram pages.
In the video, Ciara flashed a modest diamond engagement ring from Wilson. Her response to the engagement ring was surprisingly muted (that means low key).
CiCi’s fans assumed her lack of excitement was because she stopped short of reaching the alter on several previous trips down the same road.
But now we know the real reason why Ciara hid her face while flashing her ring.
Wilson’s ex-wife Ashton Wilson changed her Twitter.com profile pic to show off the sizable rock Wilson gave her back in 2012. The Wilson’s were divorced in 2014 after 2 tumultuous years of marriage.
At 8 carats, Ashton’s ring is significantly larger than Ciara’s ring.
Image is everything to Ciara, and having a smaller ring than her competitor simply won’t do.
