California’s Girl Scouts Troop 5215 is still waiting for their cut of a $65,000 check for cookies they sold at the Oscar Awards last month.

Academy Awards host Chris Rock invited the Girls Scouts troop to the Oscars ceremony to sell cookies to the well-heeled stars in the audience.

Celebrities in the audience bought a variety of cookies, but TMZ reports that the local chapter — which would only get about $1,000 of the money — hasn’t seen a cent. The National Girl Scout Council told the troop that the Academy would donate the money to the Greater L.A. Council, but that allegedly hasn’t happened. A representative for Girl Scouts of America told reporters: “The donation process is determined by local councils.” Source

My spinning instructor was talk about this in class this morning. She said you are supposed take your body weight and multiply it by 2/3 and that will give you how many ounces you should have. So if you’re 100 pounds –> 100 x 2 = 200/3 = 67 ounces
