Congratulations to Power couple T.I. and Tiny! Former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, 40, gave birth to a daughter earlier this week.
The baby was born prematurely (the due date was in May), and the couple wasn’t ready to publicize the blessed event just yet.
Leave it to T.I.’s niece, Kamaya Harris, to blurt out the news about the baby’s birth on social media.
As usual, T.I., 35, and Tiny are not happy that the news was leaked early without their authorization.
There’s a process to these things that usually goes like this: A blogger or People.com are authorized to report the news to the public when the family is ready.
But Kamaya always jumps the gun because she’s so desperate for ‘Likes’ and follows on social media.
Tiny’s close friend, singer Tamar Braxton chastised Kamaya for leaking the baby news on social media.
When Kamaya’s mother, Precious Harris, saw her daughter being dragged unmercifully on social media, she stepped in to defend her child.
“When a baby is born it’s hard to not be excited,” Precious wrote on Instagram.com.
It’s only natural for a mother to defend her daughter. But T.I. and Precious fell out before over her children’s loose lips.
If you recall, Precious’ son (who once worked for T.I.) ran back to his mother telling her T.I.’s business about a certain incident that took place during a west coast trip.
Precious was an emotional wreck when T.I. cut her and her kids off financially.
It took the combined efforts of family members pleading with T.I. before he took Precious and her kids back into the fold.
It must be frustrating when one side of the family always puts the family business in the streets.
