Peter Thomas Walks Away from ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’

Earlier I told you that Real Housewives of Atlanta producers were planning to shed dead weight from the once popular reality TV show.

Welp, it looks like longtime cast member Peter Thomas, 56, is the first casualty to be let go. Thomas is getting the boot from the show after 2 seasons of declining ratings.

The news comes one day after Thomas’ long-suffering wife Cynthia Bailey told Life & Style magazine that her marriage was “not in a good place.”

Of course, to hear Thomas tell it, he’s leaving the show of his own accord.

Thomas got the jump on the show’s producers by speaking exclusively to celebrity blogger Michelle Brown of straightfromthea.com.

Those shows are created to destroy marriage, not to empower marriage… so I’m choosing to bow out. That’s my choice. This season was so beautiful to me the way it ended…. and I don’t want to f— that up.”

The failed restauranteur also denied cheating on his former model wife Cynthia Bailey:

“Since I’ve been married to my wife, I haven’t cheated on my wife with anyone. I happen to be old fashioned and actually am in love with my wife,” the grizzled reality star said.

I don’t know that I believe reality shows are a marriage/rationship curse. I think it’s more about the types of people that go on reality shows. Seven or eight times out of ten they are attention whores and the relationship is already fragile. It seems like it’s the reality show when it was inevitable either way.

Nope, this is good for even the worst cases of eczema. Grandsons was so bad that we have to be careful with him touching anything and then touching his skin, as bacteria could get under it and the skin cause an infection under the skin. He used to come over and lay his head on my shoulder and just rub his little chin, because it itched so bad….even had it on his eyebrows. We tried everything, even Aveeno oatmeal products. My grandmother said use Alpha Keri and it cleared it up so fast and so well. Now we only have to use it when he develops patches and his skin isn’t discolored from the spots anymore. Me and my daughter swear by it.

First, I didn’t say I was married. Second, I didn’t say I was engaged in infidelity. Third, I didn’t say I approved of infidelity. Again – because apparently it was difficult to read what I plainly wrote – I said that the institution of marriage has always been best by infidelity. Always. Thus, the argument that a person engaged in infidelity has somehow redefined marriage is specious.

The concept of marriage as a monogamous one-man one woman/until death do you part institution is a relatively recent phenomenom as far as human history is concerned. Do you disagree with that fact?
