The young man who took down Katt Williams in a video that went viral is speaking out for the first time.
Luke Walsh, 17, of Gainesville, GA. told the UK’s Daily Mail that Williams, 42, was just riding around in the hood when he stopped to play soccer with a group of children.
The teen said after the game the troubled comedian took him over to a “secluded area” and asked the young man to hit him.
“I was like, you know, I’m not just gonna hit you,” said the youngster, who added he had never seen Williams in the neighborhood before.
Luke said Williams sucker-punched him without warning. That’s when the former high school wrestler got Williams into a choke hold and took him gently to the ground.
“I did what I did,” said Luke who apparently realized he was dealing with a mentally disturbed man.
“My face is a little swole… I just got hit,” he told a Daily Mail reporter.
Luke said Williams took photos with young people in the neighborhood but not with him.
