A Cobb County mother was arrested and charged with inciting her teenage daughter to fight another teen.
Ramona Ann Thompson, left, reportedly snatched an unidentified teenage girl by her hair and pinned her on the ground while encouraging her 17-year-old daughter Karreston Kinyada Hill, pictured center, to kick and cut her.
Hill allegedly sliced the defenseless teen with a box cutter and kicked the girl as Thompson yelled, “Stomp her! Beat her!”
Thompson, 49, also spit in the girl’s face, the AJC reports.
Another adult, Shaqwana Montice Veasley, pictured right, allegedly encouraged Hill to injure the girl she was fighting.
The unidentified teen suffered several lacerations to her face. She received stitches at a local hospital and was released.
Between 15 and 25 teens crowded around to watch and record the brawl on their smartphones in Shaw Park, near Marietta, on May 16. Multiple calls were placed to 911.
Police arrested Hill and charged her with aggravated battery and affray, according to the MyAJC.com. She was released on $20,000 bond last week. On Friday she was arrested again and charged with aggravated assault. She posted an additional $20,000 bond and was released on Monday, May 23.
Veasley, 20, was charged with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, affray and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to MyAJC.com. She turned herself in on Friday and was released Saturday on $10,000 bond.
Thompson was arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, affray and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to jail records obtained by the AJC. She was released from Cobb County jail on $7,500 bond on Saturday, May 21.
