The FBI has joined the search for a 10-year-old Arizona boy who has been missing for nearly a week.
Jesse Wilson climbed out of his bedroom window and ran away from home on Sunday. He has been missing for four days.
Jesse’s mother, Crystal Wilson, made a tearful plea for her son’s safe return, telling him, “This is your mommy. No one is mad at you,” Wilson told KNXV-TV on Thursday.
Police told KPNX-TV that foul play has not been ruled out, but Jesse has run away from home before. Police say the boy has never been gone for this extended period of time.
“I just miss your loving, caring sweet voice. That’s all I have to say,” said Wilson who is a single mother.
Police thanked the dozens of volunteers who combed the Phoenix suburb looking for Jesse on Wednesday and Thursday. The temperature has hovered over 100 degrees every day this week, according to the NY Daily News.
