A naked male model who brought traffic to a standstill in Times Square on Thursday was formally charged by the NYPD on Friday.
Krit McClean, 21, disrobed and screamed obscenities at pedestrians and police from his perch atop a ticketing booth in Manhattan.
After 90 minutes of ranting and dancing on a ledge atop the booth, police rushed McClean, who leaped off the ledge and landed hard on the pavement below. He just barely missed 2 airbags that had been carefully assembled by the NYPD.
McClean, who once modeled for Armani and Calvin Klein, was charged with drug possession, indecent exposure, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to the NY Daily News.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
A woman who answered a reporter’s knock at the McClean family home in Roosevelt Island, said politely, “This is a private family matter — no comment.”
