Photos of newlyweds Ciara Harris Wilson and Russell Wilson set tongues wagging this morning. Ciara, 30, and Wilson, 28, tied the knot Wednesday Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, UK.
The paparazzi photos show Wilson, 27, looking shell-shocked as if reality set in after he spent over $1 million on an extravagant, over-the-top wedding.
On the other hand, Ciara looks content that she finally got wanted she wanted… and now she doesn’t have to work as hard to please him.
Insiders whisper that Wilson wasn’t thrilled about getting married in a castle halfway around the world in the first place.
But Ciara insisted upon having her dream wedding — after so many false starts with other industry men including Bow Wow and Amar’e Stoudemire.
Sources say Ciara wanted to get married in a far flung place — just like Kelly Rowland, who wed her manager Tim Witherspoon in Costa Rica; and Kim Kardashian, who tied the knot with Kanye West at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
“She tried to do Future that way,” said a confidential source who begged for anonymity.
“I don’t think it’s his fault,” said the source, referring to Wilson. “He’s too green… He’s a square. He was sheltered all his life. She saw him coming a mile away.”
“He had no idea what was finna go down,” laughed the source. “She had his whole life planned before she met him… He looks like he suddenly realized, “Damn! I got a crazy b*tch.”
