Get many more opinions. I was told I should have a hysterectomy and that my tubes were closed with scar tissue from endometriosis, ademomyosis and ovarian cysts.

I had laparoscopic surgery and told my hubby if they come to him & ask the answer is no, they need to wake me up. I opted for lupron injections for the pain. Years later, I saw another specialist who injected dye and it came through.

I say this, miracles happen everyday. Unless it’s beyond doubt that it’s life saving healing may come. My heart is with you on this journey.

I told my hubby if they tell you to sign for my hysterectomy it’s because they went in an messed something up and they need to explain it to me. Unless I’m losing mass blood, wake me up. I was dead serious. They offered full and partial hysterectomy, nope. Need more people. Need time to heal. Need time to pray. Need time to believe in my body’s will to heal.

I’m sorry. I told the hubby IF they say I’m bleeding profusely during surgery that would be the only reason he should sign for a hysterectomy but not sign the part that says no lawsuits. I understood that hysterectomy is a solution to the comorbid conditions I had but not not the only solution or a cure. I wanted to be able to make an informed decision about my own body and had already declined the hysterectomy personally.

If I started to hemorrhage during surgery that meant they messed up because laparoscopy shouldn’t be that invasive to cause significant damage to warrant a hysterectomy. Sometimes these doctors “practice” medicine on you.

I have two beautiful daughters. One has been happily married almost 4 years. One starts college this month. I always wanted at least one more.

There’s no quit in me. If there’s a will there’s a way and I seek that route. I see the commercials about the talcum powder causing cancer and I wonder. I used to shower to shower regularly. I loved powder. My family had a history of ovarian cysts. Years ago I got an older Vietnamese Ob/gGyn (in my 20’s) who told me to stop putting powder in my underwear because it causes health problems for women. So I did.

I own a daycare and I hate for the parents to ask me to put powder in their children’s diapers. They don’t really need powder if properly changed and cleaned. The risk of cancer and these others is great.

My grandmothers both had those powder puffs in their rooms big flower looking things and you just pat yourself down with powder. I loved the smell of powder and the fresh feeling of it.

Lupron injections will give you menopause but will put you in remission. Endometriosis is a benign cancer formation that can break away from the uterus and attach to other organs in the body, lungs, liver, stomach etc. It may have its own men(strual) cycle because it responds to your hormones. The menopause stops production of the hormones that feed the endo. It hurts. I know. I’m sorry for your pain.

If you wish for child birth and your tubes aren’t blocked when you finish the Lupron you will be fertile.

0My God is good. We are older and decided we’d travel for a year now that the girls are women. Then we’ll work on having 1 more, simply because I’ve always wanted too, ;maybe we’ll get a boy for me and another girl for him.

My hubby is so awesome. After one day surgery, they’d cut my stomach open in 4 places to look for endo lesions, I couldn’t get a hospital discharge. I needed to toilet and my body said no. My mother was there, my hubby went to work and we didn’t expect complications. When he came he told the nurse he’ll take care of it. He bought cans of Sprite for me to gulp. An hour later I was on the way home. when the wheeled me out the door. He told the orderly that he had me. He picked me up and carried to the care.

For a week he combed our younger daughter’s hair. She still talks about her “look” to this day. LOL.

They don’t. And when they come to me with all that diaper cream I send it right back. 1. Babies never get diaper rash in the daycare. i don’t play that. 2. If they get one its from home. 3. Diaper cream collects moisture. 4. Browned flour cures diaper rash in 3 days.

Let me see if I can find some old paper work. At one point I had to see a specialist in a county hospital because we didn’t have insurance and the hospital wouldn’t let us put the surgery on a credit card. I can’t remember this particular doctor’s name, tho I remember his face.
One of my favorite ob/gyn is one of Houston’s Superdocs Frances Smith at Kelsey Seybold 2 Houston Center. She’s a smart efficient woman. She was responsible for making sure my 2nd daughter made it here. Dr. Smith referred me to the reproductive specialist who dyed my ovaries and tubes and told us all the blockage had been healed! Hallelujah! His office was on Bellaire or Holcombe Blvd, on the outskirts of the Houston Medical Center. I’ll look him up too and if I find it repost. Very gentle man, who understood the agony I felt. This was all years ago.

I recall that we saw a fertility specialist at Houston’s Ben Taub and she told us there was nothing that could be done for us and didn’t know why the Obgyn referred us to her. She said my tubes were completely blocked with scar tissue.

Years later it was all gone. I do recall passing huge “clots” or mass of tissue. We didn’t know what it was or why it was passing. They were huge. Then a couple of years later, they said no blockage.

It’s not cancer! I’ve had Endo for over 15 years. I’ve had 5 laps and was facing a hysterectomy at the age of 30. I went to a dr that specialized in Endo he put me on gabitin and the best thing for the pain believe it or not is Valium it relaxes the muscle spasms. After being told I would have to have a hysterectomy I did more research and found out that you can still suffer from Endo after one because it’s embedded into your uterine walls. I know have a healthy two year old. Look for a Endo specialist and not just an obgyn that makes all the difference.

According to Dr. Sebi’s homepage, he was born Alfredo Bowman in the Honduras in 1933 and learned the craft of herbal healing from his grandmother. Sebi also studied with a Mexican herbalist and began a line of products dubbed “Cell Food.”

One of Sebi’s claims to fame is his belief that rendering the body to an “alkaline state” makes it so that disease and ailments can’t exist in that said state. Sebi also created vegetable cell found compounds in order to fortify the body. He also claimed to have a cure for AIDS and cancer along with a long list of other related cures.

Sebi has treated several high-profile individuals including the late Michael Jackson and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC fame.

Unconfirmed reports state that Sebi died while in Mexican custody while other posts state he was in his native Honduras when he passed. However, it was confirmed on Sebi’s Facebook page that he passed in Honduras.

There are other avenues to becoming a parent including adoption and surrogacy. I haven’t birthed any children, but I have parented two (so far) from birth…and continue to parent them well into young adulthood. Be clear with yourself: is the goal to become a parent or be pregnant/birth a baby. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Be blessed.
