Chris Brown was arrested Tuesday on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
The arrest came after police surrounded the 27-year-old singer’s Tarzana, CA. home after a woman called 911 to say he threatened her with a gun.
Actress Baylee Curran was an uninvited guest at a get-together at Brown’s home on Tuesday night.
At some point she entered the house and admired a piece of high end jewelry that was in a jeweler’s case. When the jeweler complained, Brown ordered Curran, 26, to leave his house.
An argument ensued and Curran was escorted from the premises, whereupon she called 911 to give her bogus report.
Brown was arrested 11 hours later. He was released after posting $250,000 bond.
As fate would have it Curran has legal troubles of her own.
According to gossip tabloid TMZ, Curran is wanted in NYC on a charge of purse snatching.
TMZ — Baylee was vacationing with a few friends at The Plaza back in 2013 when they began arguing in the hotel. According to police docs, Baylee snatched a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from one of the girls and ran out of the hotel.
The purse contained $200 in cash, as well as credit cards and a Michael Kors wallet.
Security chased Baylee, who allegedly dropped the purse but somehow fled with the contents.
By the time cops arrived Baylee was long gone. There’s a warrant of sorts — it’s called an I-Card — which will allow NYPD cops to pick her up and take her to the station for questioning, if they find her in the city.
But wait, there’s more.
The victim was so fearful of Curran that she reportedly took out a restraining order in Los Angeles.
All of this sounds familiar, like a script for a reality TV series is in the works.
