Caleb Schwab

Some of my readers are taking the tragic death of 10-year-old Caleb Schwab really hard. My post detailing how little Caleb died on a water slide in Kansas has received more hits and more emails than any other post this year.

I even received emails from real journalists about my post.

But most of the emails were along the lines of “TAKE THAT POST DOWN!” or “YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!”

Yes, Caleb’s horrific death was heart wrenching, but the manner in which he died is news.

Many of my readers expressed an interest in how he died. I would be remiss if I didn’t give my readers the information they requested.

My apologies to anyone who was offended by this tragic news.

Whomever wrote and published the horrific article on the death of Caleb Schwab should be ashamed and fired!

I am appalled anyone would write such details with pictures (including arrows!!) of what decapitated the poor child, the blood pooling at the bottom and where his brother stood.

It’s not just disgusting in nature, it’s beyond disrespectful to the family. That day, slide and event will be forever burned into their memories. Especially, the brother.

He will be dealing with everything from survivor’s guilt to what ifs, the extra trauma of losing a brother at a young age to all the “normal” states of grief.

You and your publication, loosely defined, should be ashamed, taken down or at the very least put out an apology to the family for making a devastating, imaginable day…something sick and viral on social media.

Where has the humanity gone in this world?

Show some!!!
