Jennifer Lopez

Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez, 47, is set to star in HBO’s new biopic ‘Cocaine Godmother’ about the life and times of Colombian drug kingpin Griselda Blanco.

But Blanco’s only surviving boyfriend, Charles Cosby, is threatening to sue HBO into oblivion if his name is mentioned in the TV movie.

Cosby is not a fan of Lopez’s, saying she is “unconvincing with no street cred”.

Blanco pioneered the trafficking of cocaine from Medellin, Colombia into Miami in the 1970s when cocaine supplanted marijuana as the street drug of choice.

Blanco is rumored to have ordered hits on dozens of her drug rivals in Miami. The murders sparked the infamous drug wars in Miami in the ’70s and ’80s.

Cosby, a former cocaine dealer in Oakland, narrated the documentary film Cocaine Cowboys II: Hustlin’ With the Godmother.

Legend has it that Cosby wrote a fan letter to Blanco when she was sent to prison after moving to Oakland from Miami to escape assassination attempts on her life.

Blanco responded to the letter, and a love affair was born.

Soon Cosby was running Blanco’s $40 million-a-month cocaine empire, making him a multi-millionaire.

Cosby got out of the cocaine business for good when Blanco ordered a hit on him from prison after she learned he was cheating on her.

Blanco was released from prison and deported back to Medellin in 2004. She was shot twice in the head by an assassin on a motorcycle as she left a Medellin bodega with a friend in 2012. She was 69.
