Jourdan Dunn

Lanvin tapped supermodel Jourdan Dunn to lead the Lanvin spring/summer 2017 ready-to-wear runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Paris Couturier Bouchra Jarrar closed her own label to take the position of Creative Director at Lanvin.

Jarrar continued the men’s tailored look from last year’s collection. She took her inspiration from Coco Chanel. “[Coco] made menswear and sportswear before she did women’s,” Jarrar said in a preview. Vogue described her as a “men’s tailor for women.” We don’t all dress like Barbie dolls.
