Shaqueenia Hanna

Shaqueenia Hanna’s family members say jealousy motivated her baby’s father to shoot her 13 times in front of her children.

Hanna, 35, recently broke up with Terrell Robinson, the father of her youngest child.

On Monday, Sept. 5, Hanna wrote on her Facebook page: “ONCE I LEAVE A NIGGA HE ONLY MOTIVATE ME TO [sh*t] ON HIM 4 WASTING MY TIME.”

The next day, Robinson, 31, crouched outside Hanna’s house and shot her 13 times when she pulled up to the house in her car.

Terrell Robinson Four of six children witnessed the shooting and called police. The children heard Hanna beg for her life before he opened fire.

“I seen him shoot. That my mama. I wanted to run outside. I was just crawling to her and crying,” said her daughter Ronnisha.

Hanna is listed in critical condition in intensive care at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

She had planned to take out a restraining order on Robinson after he text her to say he would kill her for leaving him for another man.

Her sister, Cierra Hanna, said some family members didn’t take the threats seriously.

“They said, ‘Oh, he’s not serious. Don’t believe him. He won’t do it,’ ” Cierra said. “And he did it. He shot her. I wonder what they gotta say now.”

Miami police circulated fliers with Robinson’s picture on them throughout the community.

But some family members want to administer street justice to Robinson.

One of Shaqueenia’s sisters begged her Facebook followers to “F-ck him Up then Call the Police.”

During a hearing at the Children’s Courthouse on Wednesday, a judge placed three of Robinson’s children with their mother Kanetra Gilmore.

A fourth child who was living with Robinson was placed with another family member.

Gilmore told CBS4’s Peter D’Oench she felt compelled to step in to care for the children even though she has 3 other children at home.

“I love my kids,” she said. “I love all of them. I love all of them so much and that is why I wanted to take care of them. I will do the best I can.”

Gilmore is already caring for two 6-year-old twins and a 7-year-old child.

Gilmore’s children who lived with Robinson are 8, 9 and 10-years-old. She said she didn’t want to see the children go into foster care.

“These are the kids that I had with the dad and he is not here but I thank God that I am able to do this,” Gilmore said. “I realize this is a lot of responsibility and a lot of kids to care for but I am going to do this.”

Judge Ariana Fajardo Orshan told Gilmore, “I am going to place the Robinson children with you on a temporary basis.”

The judge cautioned her not to have any contact with Robinson and to call police if he shows up at her home.

“Let me stress that you need to make good choices,” said the judge.
