Rap mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs just made it easier for Howard University students to pay off their student loans.
The 46-year-old college dropout presented a $1 million check to the school during his Bad Boy Reunion Concert Tour stop in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
Combs said the money was aimed at starting a scholarship fund for “anybody who can’t pay off their financial aid.”
Combs dropped out of Howard U. in the late 1980s to become a rap promoter.
On Dec. 28, 1991, nine youths were trampled to death and 29 injured during a celebrity basketball game he promoted at City College in New York.
“City College is something I deal with every day of my life,” he told the NY Times in 1998.
Howard University presented Combs with an honorary doctorate degree in 2014.
