Hillary Clinton blamed President Obama and FBI director James Comey for her stunning loss to Donald Trump.
Ed Klein, who authored the book ‘Guilty as Sin,’ says Clinton called a longtime friend, crying hysterically, the morning after the election.
Klein described Clinton’s post-election meltdown in a sit-down interview on the Steve Malzberg Show.
He said she telephoned an old friend at 6:30 Wednesday morning.
“She was crying inconsolably,” he said his source told him. “She couldn’t stop crying.” Clinton was crying so hard, it was difficult for her friend to understand what Clinton was saying.
Klein said his source told him, eventually she could make out that Clinton was blaming James Comey and President Obama — apparently for not doing enough to shut Comey down when he reopened the investigation into her illegal activities.
Klein made a great observation about Clinton’s narcissism.
“With the Clintons — especially with Hillary; it’s never her fault,” he said.
He added: “With the Clintons, it’s always somebody else’s fault. And it’s been this way with Hillary all her career.”
