Multiple sources report that President-elect Donald Trump may pay $20-$25 million to settle fraud lawsuits in California and New York.
The lawsuits were brought by former students who claim they were defrauded by Trump University.
Settling the lawsuits does not require an admission of guilt on Mr. Trump’s part.
The president-elect is settling the cases so he can move on to more important issues such as appointing cabinet members and interviewing dozens of candidates to fill important government positions.
Trump only has 60 days to put his administration together. Obviously he has more important things to do than being forced to testify at a trial.
