Donald Trump supporters raised over $150,000 to repair a black church that was set ablaze by arsonists in Greenville, MS late Tuesday.
Public donations to a Gofundme account set up for Hopewell Baptist Church far surpassed the original goal of $10,000.
Vandals set the church ablaze and spray painted “Vote Trump” on the side in an effort to blame Trump’s supporters for the despicable act.
“We do believe that God will allow us to build another sanctuary in that same place,” said Pastor Carilyn Hudson at a press conference on Wednesday.
She added that the sanctuary sustained most of the damage to the 111 year old church. There were no reports of injuries.
The vandals are most likely crooked Hillary Clinton supporters who hoped to rally black people to vote for Clinton.
Clinton and President Obama are panicking since early voting stats shows very low black voter turnout on the Democratic side.
Outraged Trump supporters took to social media to call out the shady antics of Clinton supporters.
“[T]rump supporters are too loyal to do ANYTHING like this that would hurt his chances,” tweeted @MichaelMccann99.
Another user, @Rodm_1, tweeted: “Dont you think this smells? Anyone that wants Trump to win would not do this. Who benifts from this? Clinton! Desperation!”
