Barack Obama cemented his legacy as the LGBT president by commuting the sentence of American traitor Bradley Manning, aka Chelsea.
Manning, 29, is an Army soldier who was court-martialed in July 2013 for violating the Espionage Act by leaking classified documents to WikiLeaks.
Manning was sentenced in August 2013 to 35 years in prison with the possibility of parole after 8 years.
There was widespread speculation that Obama would grant clemency to Manning, who suffers from gender dysphoria and identifies as a “transwoman”.
Manning’s release seemed more likely because he was a member of the LGBT community, and Obama is rumored to be bisexual.
Earlier this month, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange vowed to return to the United States IF Obama commuted Manning’s sentence.
Assange, 45, has been holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for the past 4 years to avoid prosecution for various crimes related to WikiLeaks and an unrelated sex charge.
According to the radical leftwing theory, the Russians hacked DNC computers and gave the information to WikiLeaks which they say helped Donald Trump get elected.
