Tamron Hall awoke this morning at a decent hour. The 46-year-old media mogul slept in late on Thursday, after abruptly walking away from her Today Show hosting duties.
Sources tell Us Weekly that Hall was told only “minutes before going on air Friday that she and Al [Roker]” were losing their show for former FOX News bigot Megyn Kelly, also 46.
EURweb.com reported exclusively that Hall was being forced out at NBC, in favor of Kelly.
NBC Universal announced on Wednesday that Hall was leaving both NBC and MSNBC. Hall reportedly turned down a lucrative contract, leaving millions of dollars on the table.
The 5-foot-9 fashionista kept herself busy cleaning out her massive closets on Thursday. She picked out pricey designer dresses that she no longer needed for the news desk.
Hall posted a video on her Twitter page, telling her followers she was donating the fancy duds to charity.
“Today was a good day!!! Thank y’all so much,” she said.
