An obsessed fan was arrested and charged with stalking global pop star Taylor Swift.
According to Page Six, Mohammed Jaffar, 29, began stalking the 27-year-old “Love Story” singer in December.
Jaffar is accused of following Taylor on tour, harassing her and loitering outside her luxury Tribeca penthouse for days.
On Feb. 6, surveillance video captured Jaffar entering Swift’s Franklin Street building and lingering in the hallway outside her 10,000-square-foot penthouse apartment.
The deranged fan leaned on Swift’s doorbell for 45 minutes straight in an attempt to get her to open the door.
Video captured the suspect on the building’s rooftop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, according to court documents.
Court papers state that Jaffar called Swift’s management company 59 times between Jan. 27 and Feb. 16 demanding to speak to the superstar.
Swift purchased the lavish 10,000-square-foot penthouse for $20 million in 2014, according to multiple listing services.
Jaffar was arrested on March 6 and charged with stalking and burglary. He is being held on $20,000 bail.
