Aaron Hernandez left behind three suicide notes according to jail officials in Massachusetts. Hernandez, 27, hanged himself with a bed sheet in his prison cell early Wednesday.
London’s Daily Mail reports exclusively that Hernandez left behind 2 notes for his fiancée Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez and their 4-year-old daughter, Avielle, and a 3rd note to his jailhouse lover.
The Daily Mail quoted a source who said the unidentified man is under “eyeball-to-eyeball” suicide watch.
The notes were found next to a bible opened to the verse John 3:16 — the same verse that Hernandez scrawled on his forehead in a red marker before he took his own life.
An earlier report by Boston’s CBS affiliate WBZ claimed the former Patriots tight end wrote the verse in his own blood.
Sexual trysts between inmates in prisons is typical behavior among incarcerated men, who usually engage in homosexual behavior behind bars out of necessity. These men typically do not consider themselves to be gay or even bisexual.
But numerous liberal media outlets ran with sensational headlines that Hernandez is gay.
