Lifetime Network released the full length trailer for the much-anticipated Michael Jackson biopic Searching for Neverland. The TV film is directed by Dianne Houston, and stars famed Michael Jackson impersonator Navi who has made a good living as the King of Pop over the years.
Navi actually does a pretty good job of bringing Michael to life on screen. But, like his idol, the ravages of years of plastic surgery has taken its toll on his face.
The biopic also stars actress Holly Robinson Peete as Michael’s longtime publicist and manager Raymone Bain, who recently lost a lawsuit over money she claims Jackson wanted her to have for her years of faithful service. Unfortunately Bain forgot to get it in writing while Michael was still alive.
Former President Barack Obama honored Bain with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
