Eboni K. Williams, co-host of The Fox News Specialists, is in fear for her life after receiving death threats for criticizing President Donald Trump on Monday.
During her “Eboni’s Docket” segment, Williams uncharacteristically criticized Trump for failing to specifically name the white supremacist groups who tangled with the leftwing ANTIFA thugs at the Unite the Right rally in Virginia on Saturday.
Williams, who is normally a staunch Trump supporter (at least on air), addressed the president directly, saying his initial remarks after the rally were “cowardly” and “dangerous”. President Trump said “both sides” were to blame for the violence in Charlottesville.
But Williams joined the Alt-Left media who demanded he denounce the white supremacists by name.
Williams, whose mother voted for Trump, told Variety in an interview on Wednesday that her blog was inundated with over 150 emails after Monday’s segment.
“I should meet my maker soon, I shouldn’t be allowed to walk the streets of New York,” she quoted some of the emails she received. “They heard that I live in Harlem — Harlem needs to watch out.”
She said her book publisher was so alarmed that he advised her to request extra security from Fox News, which she did.
Williams is now escorted to and from the building when she arrives to work.
