Charlottesville

Vigils were held all over the country for the victims of the violent ‘Unite the Right’ rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, Aug. 12. The KKK, neo-Nazis and white supremacist groups assembled at Lee Park on Saturday to protest the planned removal of the Gen. Robert E. Lee confederate statue.

Heather Heyer, 32, was killed and 19 people, including Marcus Martin (pictured above), were injured when James Alex Fields Jr, 20, drove his Dodge Challenger muscle car into a crowd of antifascist (Antifa) counter-protesters who were bused to the rally armed with sticks, chains and bottles of urine.

Martin, 26, suffered a broken leg when he was sent airborne after the car plowed into the crowd.
