A British man who thought his fiancée was doing him a favor by organizing his stag party in Ibiza was left stranded at the airport with 29 of his pals after the bride-to-be forged their boarding passes.
Chris Mahone, 27, and his friends arrived at the Leeds Airport in England ready to board a 6:45 a.m. flight to Ibiza for what was to be a four-day stag party weekend.
The trip was organized by Chris’s fiancée Rachel Doran, 29, who collected [$581 USD] from each man to book their plane tickets and hotel rooms.
But when Chris and his pals presented their boarding passes at the check-in desk, they were told the passes were forged.
Distraught and in disbelief, Chris and his dad Darren, 48, frantically phoned Rachel from the airport, but she didn’t answer.
They realized the trip was fake after they called the hotel in Ibiza and were told there were no reservations for Chris’s party.
