Singer Fantasia Barrino is praying for the swift recovery of her younger brother Xavier Barrino after he was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The former American Idol star asked her fans on Instagram.com to pray for her brother in a series of posts last week.
Alongside a photo of her youngest sibling standing next to a motorbike, she wrote:
“All of you who follow or see this PLEASE PRAY NOW please please please for my baby Bro please he is my Heartbeat PRAY Warriors (fans) PRAY (sic)”.
In another post on Tuesday, Sept. 12, the singer revealed her brother was scheduled to go under the knife for the sixth time.
“Hey my Baby @xavierbarrino 6th Surgery today Lil dude Keep Fighting”. She also added a praying hands emoji.
Further details about Xavier’s condition have not been shared, but Fantasia previously explained her brother would have to learn to walk again once he’s on the road to recovery.
