Rapper Gucci Mane received an early wedding present – his parole will end two years early.
The 37-year-old Alabama native, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, walked free from an Indiana prison in May, 2016 after spending almost two years behind bars on aggravated assault charges.
Gucci was scheduled to serve three years probation for a federal weapons charge, but he’ll be free from serving probation on September 19, according to Billboard.com.
Gucci’s legal team filed court documents requesting early termination of his supervised release in August.
The good news comes a week before his new book, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, hits bookstores, and a month before he exchanges vows with fiancée Keyshia Ka’oir at the 4 Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida.
The wedding will be filmed for a docuseries series on BET Network. Gucci and Keyshia received $650k up front and BET will pay an additional $400,000 on the lavish wedding.
Gossip webloid TMZ published the fancy mirrored invitations, a booklet adorned with Swarovski crystals inside. The blinged-out invitations reportedly cost $1,000 each.
TMZ reports BET spared no expense on the 50 invitations, which went out to stars like Drake, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Pharrell, Diddy, Rick Ross, Monica, Trina, Migos and Solange Knowles.
The other 50 guests received cheaper — but still fancy — invitations to the grand wedding.
