Rapper Young Thug is finally back out on the streets after spending 4 non-productive days in jail on weapons and drug charges.
The 26-year-old Atlanta native was arrested during a traffic stop on Saturday near his rented mansion in Brookhaven, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.
Cops pulled Thugger’s SUV over for illegally tinted front windows, and during a search of his vehicle, officers allegedly found marijuana and prescription Codeine, an ingredient found in the street drug Purple Drank, aka Lean.
The rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was booked on a felony drug count and a misdemeanor for the tinted windows.
Thugger was held without bond until his hearing on Wednesday, Sept. 27. He was hit with an additional felony charge for gun possession because cops allegedly found two guns in the car.
He is also reportedly facing another felony charge for drug possession for narcotics and liquid Codeine.
After his court hearing, Young Thug posted bond and was released.
Hopefully he will hire a driver like every other irresponsible rapper who can’t stay out of trouble.
