Chance The Rapper, right, and his longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley were seen leaving Nas‘ concert after party at Poppy nightclub in Hollywood on Thursday. Chance and Kirsten have a 2-year-old daughter, Kensli Bennett.
Chance and Kirsten were surrounded by burly security guards after news broke that the Las Vegas shooter who killed 58 people at a country music festival targeted a concert where he performed in Vegas last month.
If you recall, Chance and Kirsten reached an out of court settlement after she sued him for child support for their daughter.
In 2016, the two reached a co-parenting agreement that hinged on them living together — but he moved out, so she sued.
Like most smart men, Chance must have decided it was cheaper to keep her than to break his bank to get rid of her. Besides, little Kensli needs her father and a stable home environment free of bickering about money and cheating.
Chance’s attorney, Tanya Stanish, said the new agreement covers child support and parenting time for their daughter.
“Overall, I’d say they did a good job and worked well together and came to a fair resolution for everyone,” Stanish said.
Enrico Mirabelli, attorney for Kirsten, chimed in: “This case ended quickly because of the unusually high level of cooperation between the parents putting their child’s best interest first.”
The 24-year-old Chicago native recently performed a sold-out concert to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
Chance performed “Waves” and “Ultralight Beam” at the Hurricane Maria benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday.
