Chris Brown

Chris Brown doesn't have Oprah money, but he still dug deep in his pockets to donate $50,000 to Columbia Middle School in Atlanta. The singer stopped by the school on Saturday to drop off concert tickets for all the children to attend his show later that night at Philips Arena.

Chris Brown

The children screamed their heads off when he stepped in the gymnasium, but they reserved their loudest screams when V-103's Greg Street announced Brown's 50K donation.

    Great job donating $50k.
Middle-school kids are under 14. I don't think Chris Brown's concert is appropriate for this age group.
I think the High School would be better. :-(
The high school kids are in the middle of final exams.
    Just my thoughts.

Great news. Can someone share why he chose Columbia Middle school?

  • Malcom Flex

Take off the shades bro, out of respect Good deed done a bit late, look like PR. For sho if those were little blonde or asian girls he'd have the shades off.

  • davine puddin

They have a great band music department..

  • the conscious one

That's a nice thing for him to do. I don't know about giving the kids tickets to his concert tho...he's not appropriate for middle school kids.

  • kekeb

  • SDot

  • lovelygamour

This is wonderful. However this is all for pr. Black people dont check for him anymore. He already said he hate blackwomen. He now see's it was the black girls keeping him in business. So he wearing shades and donates some money to get the wheels turning. Plus did those ladies know he was coming to the school. You know he hates casual dressed black women. ?
