Power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child — a daughter — via a surrogate on Monday. Kim announced the happy news on her social media app on Tuesday.
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she wrote. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”
Kim’s doctors warned her not to have any more children are she experienced Eclampsia complications while carrying son Saint West.
The newborn girl, whose name has yet to be revealed, was born in the early hours of Monday, Jan. 15. She joins Kim and Kanye’s four-year-old daughter North West, and two-year-old son Saint.
The arrival of the couple’s third kid comes as Kim’s sister Khloe prepares to welcome her first baby with her basketball star boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. Youngest sister Kylie Jenner is also rumored to be pregnant with rapper Travis Scott‘s child.
Paparazzi snapped photos of Kylie wearing an oversized green coat in a convenience store on Monday. The photos were timed perfectly to silence the rumors that she was carrying sister Kim’s unborn daughter.
Rumor mongers now believe Kylie is carrying sister Khloe’s child.
