Years ago, rapper T.I., who now works for the mayor’s office in Atlanta, paused to take a photo with a young fan who grew up to be Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty. Yachty, 20, is among a new generation of bubblegum rappers whose songs quickly fade from the radio. He is best known for appearing in a Sprite commercial with NBA superstar LeBron James.
