Youtube star Logan Paul was given the kiss of death by Youtube.com which canceled all advertisements on his videos and future movie projects. The move came after Paul returned to Youtube following his suspension for disrespecting the dead, and promptly tasered a rat. The loss of revenue will hit Paul hard. He earned $12 million from Youtube ads alone in 2016.
Youtube, which is owned by Google, suspended the 22-year-old last month after he posted a video disrespecting the body of a suicide victim in Japan’s notorious Suicide Forest.
Paul took the time off to go on a tearful apology tour and at least pretend to be sorry for his behavior.
But no sooner did Paul return to the Youtube platform than he angered Youtube.com bosses again by tasering a rat.
One of the hallmark signs of psychopaths and sociopaths is animal cruelty.
“This is not a decision we made lightly,” a YouTube spokesman told the Washington Post on Friday. “We believe he has exhibited a pattern of behavior in his videos that makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers, but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community.”
