Drake dropped his much-anticipated music video for his single “God’s Plan”. The video was taped on location in Miami, Florida last week. Drake made headlines for giving away the entire music video budget — $996.631.90 — to Floridians, including a high schooler who received a $50,000 scholarship to the University of Miami.
Drake also treated Odelie Paret, 63, to a $10,000 shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue after learning she commutes four hours every day to her job as a Miami hotel maid to earn enough to feed her family. In return for his generosity, the luxury retailer allowed Drake and his crew to tape scenes inside the store.
Drake’s generosity extended to the Lotus House Women’s Shelter and stunned grocery store shoppers who were given free goods and groceries.
“God’s Plan” was filmed at Miami Senior High School, the University of Miami and other South Florida locations by Director X.
