Eddie Murphy‘s mother, Lillian Murphy, was spotted attending a church event with Eddie’s 10-year-old daughter, Angel Iris Murphy, who regularly visits with her famous daddy. The adolescent was pulled into the nasty divorce between her mother, Melanie “Mel B” Brown and Stephen Belafonte as Stephen falsely claimed Murphy, 56, wasn’t interested in seeing his daughter.

Belafonte asked a judge to grant him step-parent rights to the child he raised from an infant.

In court documents, Mel B, 42, disputed Belafonte’s claim that Murphy never met his 2nd youngest child.

Mel B said during Murphy’s first ever visit with Angel, “Eddie gave her the biggest hug and repeatedly told her how much he missed her and how much he loves her.”

According to The Blast, Brown said Murphy bought Angel a cellphone to stay in contact with her, and bought her two french bulldog puppies for her birthday. She named one of the puppies Axel, after Murphy’s Beverly Hills Cop character, Axel Foley.

Eddie reportedly wanted Angel to attend the same school as his other children, so that all his kids receive the same level of education, according to The Blast.
